Nx EVOS: Building Enterprise Scale Video Applications

Idea Submission Guidelines

• Idea Title: Written on cover page
• Problem Statement: What is the specific business problem that you are solving using your envisioned enterprise video application (200 words max.)
• Approach: How will you solve it? Describe the solution both from a user point of view and from a technical point of view:
  • User: Describe the envisioned interaction with the resulting application including sketches using Nx Client / Mobile (500 words max.)
  • Technology: Describe the signal processing start to finish: which AI/ML model(s) will you use? Which post-processing or business rules will you implement? Please provide a visual representation / diagram of the full AI/ML pipeline (500 words max.)
  • Hardware: Describe and motivate on which hardware your solution should run (500 words max.

Project Submission Requirements

• All projects must be submitted in the form of a GitHub repository. The repository should contain all the code / artifacts needed to compile (if needed), install, and run your application.
• The project GitHub page should contain a README detailing:
  • A project overview (a max 150 word description detailing what you build)
  • A setup guide (step by step instructions on how to run your application (500 words).
  • A (short) manual, written from a user perspective, detailing the interaction with the application (500 words).
  • The project GitHub should contain a short video demonstrating the application (max 4 minutes).
• Note: You may submit your project as many times as you like. Only the final submission will be judged.
